Please join us Saturday, Dec 7 at 10 am to hear from Jay Keck about the vital role we gardeners have in keeping South Carolina wildlife thriving, and why planting native trees, shrubs, and perennials is essential. Jay is Habitat Education Manager for SC Wildlife Federation, and a passionate, knowledgeable speaker on plants as the foundation for the food web our native butterflies, songbirds, reptiles, and other life depend on. December 6 is South Carolina Arbor Day, since this is the perfect time to plant trees and shrubs in our region. Make the most of the South's mild winter and plant now for you and for wildlife!
